Best Fire Pit Ever...?

One of my favorite things to do in life is to hang out around a campfire and cook some food over it, play some acoustic guitar, or just stare into the flames and bliss out.

I have experienced many different styles of fire pits; some dug into the ground with a stone ring built around them, some above ground fire pits like the ones made from metal barrels, and even some made from washing machine bins.

The Solo stove is by far the best I have ever used. There are so many reasons I love my Bonfire from Solo stove.

The design is absolutely brilliant. Not only does it look really cool, but it functions very well.

It is made completely of stainless steel so it’s very sturdy.

It has an inner ring that sits inside the outer casing. There are holes inside the Solo Stove that allow the air to circulate around the wood inside, so it burns evenly and efficiently.

This design holds the wood slightly raised from the base and away from the outer metal layer which allows for incredibly easy lighting of the fire each time.

We were originally excited about this solo stove fire pit because it is advertised as “smokeless”. We have often had to endure being smoked out while trying to enjoy a nice fire. It sucks getting smoke in your eyes!

I wouldn’t call the solo stove Bonfire ‘smokeless’ but I will say that it does direct the smoke upward due to the insert that fits into the top of the bonfire stove.

Also, thanks to their 360° signature design, which allows air to flow around the wood, smoke is greatly reduced because the fire burns much hotter.

The flame effect is lovely, and it is mesmerizing to watch.

The other great advantage to this particular bonfire stove is that it is so portable and even comes with a slick carrying case! You can easily bring it with you on any camping adventure. Whether it be a car camping trip to the Pacific Northwest wilderness or taking your RV to a secluded beach in Baja, this will be a great addition to your camp scene.

It also comes with lots of great accessories to trick out your Solo Stove. Some of the cool ones for the Bonfire Model are the shield, the roasting sticks, and the carrying handle.

I purchased the Bonfire Model, normally priced at $350, but I got it on sale for $290.
Solo Stove has three different model sizes available for fire pits as well as a new Ultimate Grill Bundle.

At first this may seem pricey coming in at $350 for the Bonfire Stove and carrying case, however, keep in mind this is built to last. Solo Stove is made in the USA by people paid a living wage working in good conditions and comes with a lifetime guarantee.
You will get a lifetime of use out of it if properly cared for.

FYI: You don’t want to leave it out in the rain or put the fire out with water and always remember to empty the ash out after each fire, so the ash doesn’t clog the holes and block air flow.

Other than that, all you have to do is enjoy many blissful nights around the fire with friends and family, laughing and sharing stories and food. What in life is better than that?
